The MSc distance education is a postgraduate program offered by the University of Kerala. The Distance Education MSc is designed to provide advanced knowledge in science-related subjects. There are two specializations available in the MSc distance education course at Kerala University, including Computer Science and Mathematics. MSc Distance Education Duration & Eligibility

The MSc distance education programme lasts 2 years. There are 4 semesters, with each year consisting of 2 semesters. All students must pass all semesters and complete the full duration of this course to pass. 

All students applying for admission to the Distance Education MSc course need to meet the eligibility criteria. To be eligible to apply for the MSc programmes, a student must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university and a duration of 3 years. To apply for M.Sc. For the Computer Science specialization, a student must have studied Computer Science, Computer applications, or Electronics as a main subject in their graduation

For the MSc Mathematics specialization, they must have completed their bachelor’s in Mathematics or Statistics as their main subject. For both specializations, students must hold at least 55% marks or equivalent CCPA. Students from reserved categories will be given relaxation in the marks requirement. Admissions for both specializations are merit-based; students are chosen on their marks.
