To be eligible for admission to a Master of Arts (M.A.) program, a candidate must have completed a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. The university generally prefers students who have studied relevant core or major courses, such as English language and Literature for History, which may be required. Candidates who have secured at least 45% marks or an equivalent CGPA (for example, 4.5 out of 10 or 1.8 out of 4) will have a higher chance of securing admission than others.
