MCom Distance Education Duration & Eligibility
The M.Com Distance Education programme is a 2-year programme, divided into four semesters, with two semesters per academic year. The duration of this course is the same as a regular course, making it easier for students to manage their time.
All students must meet the eligibility criteria to apply for admission to the distance MCom program at the University of Kerala. The eligibility criteria for the distance MCom course is Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with Commerce as the Core Course. The student must have secured at least 4.5 CCPA out of 10 (or equivalent). Graduates in related commerce streams such as B.Com Computer Application, B.Com Tourism and Travel Management (Career Related/Vocational/Restructured), B.Com Tax Procedure and Practices (Career Related/Vocational/Restructured), B.Com Actuarial Science (Vocational), B.Com Office Management & Secretarial Practice, and B.Com Hotel Management and Catering (Career Related/Restructured) are also eligible to apply. In addition, candidates who have completed a BBA, BBS, or BBM degree are eligible for admission, subject to university norms.
