MLIS Distance Education Duration & Eligibility
The Master of Library and Information Science degree is a 1-year course. This course has semesters. This short duration is great for students who want to complete their master’s under a limited timeframe. This course helps students achieve their academic goals without interrupting other work commitments.
To apply for the Master of Library and Information Science degree, students must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Kerala. It is the minimum eligibility criteria. Students who have completed their BLISc degree course from another university are also recognised and eligible for admission. Although there is no minimum marks requirement, students who have secured 45% marks in their bachelor’s will have more chances of securing admission than other students.
